The Copa is about to go live. Courts have been spruced up for initiating play tomorrow Saturday for the Boys and Girls Qualy, and the grounds are being prepped with food trucks, booths, and promotional kiosks to provide a festive atmosphere for the 61st running of the Copa del Café. The Main Draw is 32 players strong, so the Qualy of 32 players is similar to the first round of a 64 player draw. Qualy sign in is ongoing and there are many players hoping for a chance to play as some Main Draw players have dropped out of the listing, opening up MD slots for the top ranked Qualy players, and then opening up slots in the Qualy for Alternates. Play initiates tomorrow early with first and second round Boys matches scheduled, as well as first round Girls play. Sunday will feature the final third round for the Boys and second and third round of the Girls Qualy draw. Let the games begin!
